I’m a Civil Celebrant based in Staffordshire and have lived here for the last 27 years. I live with my husband David and two children in the county town of Stafford.
I have trained to the highest standard, and hold the National NOCN Level 3 Diploma (RQF) in Funeral Celebrancy and a member of the Institute of Civil Funerals.
Prior to becoming a Civil Celebrant, I worked for Staffordshire County Council as a Senior Customer Service Adviser and further progressed to working as a trained Registrar in births, deaths and marriages.
I have had the pleasure of meeting many different families, completed many registrations and conducted various ceremonies during this time.
I gained a wealth of experience and knowledge during my career as a Registrar, and also had the opportunity to work directly with the South Staffordshire Coroner dealing with bereaved families in very difficult circumstances.
I was inspired to pursue this career through my knowledge gained as a Registrar and through my love of working with people.
My own personal experiences of losing family and friends along the way has further inspired me in my pursuit of providing a personal, respectful and dignified service and fully embracing the individuality and wishes of loved ones, their families and friends.
